Ultraform® H2320 004

Ultraform® H2320 004 by BASF is an unreinforced, high-molecular-weight acetal polyoxymethylene (POM) copolymer grade. Exhibits high rigidity, strength & stiffness, low water absorption, good resilience properties, low tendency to creep, excellent resistance to fuels & chemicals, excellent sliding friction properties, good long-term thermal stability, impact resistance, good electrical insulation properties and dimensional stability. It is insoluble in water. Can be processed using injection molding and extrusion. Recommended for small thin-walled tubes and panels. Ultraform® H2320 004 by BASF complies with the EU Directive 2006/122/EC (PFOA), EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS) and EC Regulation 1907/2006 (REACH).

Ultraform® N2320 003 PRO

Ultraform® N2320 003 PRO is a polyoxymethylene; polyacetal (POM) grade. Provides an ideal combination of strength, stiffness and hardness. Offers good resilience, processability and is suitable for sterilization with superheated steam, plasma and ethylene oxide. Possesses high crystallinity and has higher viscosity as compared to other Ultraform grades. Exhibits high tribological strength, high impact resistance, low friction, good abrasion resistance, low material fatigue, excellent chemical and hydrolysis resistance. Can be combined with Ultradur PRO for producing plastic parts with additional features. Processed by injection molding and suited for the production of thick-walled components and manufacture of highly stressed elements such as functional parts in insulin pens, atomizing devices and dry-powder inhalers as well as for plug-in connectors, handles of surgical instruments and other components in made from semi-finished parts. Is in accordance with EU Pharmacopeia, US Pharmacopeia and DIN EN ISO 10993-5. Complies with FDA and REACH stipulations (EC Regulation No. 1907/2006). Adheres to RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC, CONEG (dated January 1, 1994) and EU Directive 94/62/EEC.

Ultraform® N 2200 G53 UNC Q600

Ultraform® N 2200 G53 UNC Q600 is an acetal polyoxymethylene (POM) copolymer grade reinforced with 25% glass fiber. Exhibits enhanced stiffness & toughness and shows excellent chemical resistance to gasoline (including those containing ethanol and methanol), diesel fuels, and biodiesel. Possesses high rigidity, good mechanical strength and elastic properties, dimensional stability and excellent sliding friction properties. Can be processed using injection molding. It is used in designing components that require withstanding high stress. Typical applications include chain conveyors and automotive suspension components.
