Rilsan® by Arkema is a family of lightweight, renewable, recyclable, durable polyamides derived from renewable feedstock (castor oil). The unique "11-carbon chain" yields a specific crystallinity profile that is very high in hydrogen bond density. Used in new energy vehicles, 3D printing, consumer goods, electronics, sports, and lifestyle markets.

Exhibits good control of particle size, thermal properties, outstanding impact resistance, higher ductility and elasticity. Offers excellent processability and superior mechanical properties compared to polyamide 12. It is suitable for processing by laser sintering (LS).
