Rilsan® T Grey 5161 MAC by Arkema is a thermoplastic polyamide obtained from renewable resources. It offers outstanding abrasion-, corrosion- & impact resistance. This product displays sound reduction, flexibility and low coefficient of friction. This product gives smooth texture with a glossy appearance and good adhesion after over 2000 hr of salt spray testing (ISO 9227). It is used in coating of wire goods and piping components exposed to high weathering or corrosive environments. Also, used in coating of springs and machinery exposed to high abrasion such as spline shafts. It is designed to coat metal substrates via fluidized powder bed dipping. Rilsan® T Grey 5161 MAC is NSF 61 approved. The shelf life of this product is 5 years.
