CALIBRE™ 5201-12 by Trinseo is an ignition resistant, 20% glass reinforced polycarbonate (PC) resin with very good modulus. It exhibits excellent dimensional stability and contains mold release agent for optimal processing. It is sterilizable through ethylene oxide (Eto) and steam. It is used in electrical components and medical applications like surgical devices handles and housings. CALIBRE™ 5201-12 by Trinseo has undergone biocompatibility testing based on ISO 10993 (Biological Evaluation of Medical Devices). It is a UL Rated V-2 and V-0 grade.
