Apigo™ P 70 by Trinseo is a (PVC-free) flexible thermoplastic olefin elastomer (TPO) based compound containing raw materials from renewable sources. Is suitable for processing by injection molding, extrusion, extrusion-blow molding and over-molding. Is an excellent alternative to flexible PVC for halogen-free products. Possesses rigidity lower than conventional polypropylene and is created for over-molding onto rigid APIGO and polypropylene. Shows physical and mechanical properties comparable to conventional TPOs derived from fossil fuels. Allows reduction of CO2 emissions and greenhouse gases thereby saving fossil resources. Apigo™ P 70 exhibits lightness, elasticity, resistance to low temperatures, good range of hardness, elastic modulus, chemical resistance to acids and bases, excellent processability, short molding cycles and easy recycling (100%). Used in building and construction applications, home furnishings, automotive, packaging, electrical domestic appliances, thermo-hydro sanitary, toys, sports footwear (ski boots, inline skates and ice-skates), household products and personal care applications. Complies with European 10/2011/EC standard and FDA.
