POLYSTYRENE CRYSTAL 1160 is a water insoluble, high heat resistance, high molecular weight polystyrene grade. Exhibits mild odor. It can be processed using extrusion. Suitable for the production of bi-oriented polystyrene (BOPS). Offers expanded sheets with high mechanical properties. Applications include foamed packaging, trays & small boxes, healthcare grades, white goods, corrugated sheets, technical parts, compounds & masterbatches, shower screens, high heat resistant & hot-fill thermoformed products (when used in dilution with POLYSTYRENE IMAPCT 7240), transparent cups, XPS, sheet for food & beverage packaging, healthcare, appliances, general packaging, technical parts and insulation board (direct gassing). Complies with REACH, TSCA, ENCS, AICS, KECI, PICCS, IECSC and DSL. Incompatible with strong acids, strong bases, strong oxidizing agents and halogens.
