POLYSTYRENE COMPOUND 818R by TotalEnergies is a water insoluble, high impact, DBDPE-free, brominated flame retardant polystyrene grade. Contains significant level of recycled PS, collected according to WEEE EU directive, and therefore reduces environmental impact via reduced CO2 emissions and reduced energy & water consumption. Exhibits excellent UV (ultraviolet) stability. Possesses combination of high flow and high heat stability giving excellent processability and reduced cycle times. It can be processed using injection molding. Applications include electrical appliances, consumer appliances, covers for electrical equipments, TV covers, office automation products. Complies with REACH (Regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals), TSCA (Toxic Substances Control Act) inventory, ENCS (Existing & New Chemical Substances) inventory, AICS (Australian Inventory of Chemical Substances) and KECI (Korean Existing Chemicals Inventory). POLYSTYRENE COMPOUND 818R is listed on PICCS (Philippines Inventory of Chemicals and Chemical Substances), IECSC (China Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances), DSL and UL94.
