Telcar® TL-8451G by Teknor Apex is an opaque, general purpose, medium flow, halogen-free thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). Exhibits good mechanical properties, surface haptics & feel like rubber, excellent thermal performance in harsh environments (including acids, bases and chlorine), excellent resiliency, ductility and a long life in exterior, high UV and ozone weathering applications. Possesses elastomeric properties of vulcanized rubber and yet can be melt-processed and easily fabricated. Provides good processability, faster output, lower cost and recyclability. Has good colorability, good flexibility, good UV-, weather-, ozone- & sunlight (720 hours) resistance and high elasticity, elongation & tensile strength. It can be processed by extrusion and injection molding. Telcar® TL-8451G by Teknor Apex used in electrical applications such as connectors, wire & cable applications such as appliance wire insulation & jacketing, industrial cable insulation, underground power cable and flexible cord, terminal cable & wire jacketing.
