Elexar® EL-1402E is an easily colored & printed, PVC- and phthalate ester- free themoplastic elastomer (TPE) grade. Offers superior electrical properties coupled with excellent flexibility, toughness and surface aesthetics & good abrasion, tear, and tensile properties. It combines excellent low temperature properties with very good thermal stability and shows excellent UV- & ozone- resistance. It does not require pre-drying, is fully recyclable and reprocessable, whether from process scrap or post-consumer waste. Suitable for processing by extrusion and injection molding. Desired applications include connectors. Used in consumer cords, battery cables, wire & cables, robotic cables, grommets & boots, power cables (UL-62) SEO, SJEO, SJEOW, SJEOOW, GTO-15 gas tube and oil burner cable(UL-814), deep-well submersible pump cable(UL-83) insulation and jacket. Complies with UL94 (V-0).
