Torlon® 7130 by Syensqo is a flame retardant polyamide-imide (PAI) grade reinforced with 30% carbon fiber. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. Torlon® PAI has the highest strength and stiffness of any thermoplastic up to 275°C. It exhibits good chemical-, good wear-, good creep-, acid- , good fatigue- and high heat resistance.
  • It shows dimensional stability, good electrical properties, high temperature strength and good compressive strength.
  • It has thermal expansion characteristics similar to aluminum.
  • Torlon® 7130 is used in electrical applications like connectors, switches, housings and relays, impellors, shrouds, piston, sliding vanes, aircraft-, automotive-, electronic-, oil & gas- and machine applications, industrial parts and applications, metal replacement and valve/valve parts.
  • Complies with RoHS.
