Torlon® 5030-HF by Syensqo is a high flow, flame retardant polyamide-imide (PAI) grade reinforced with 30% glass fiber. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. Torlon® PAI has the highest strength and stiffness of any thermoplastic up to 275°C. It exhibits good chemical-, good wear-, good creep-, acid- and high heat resistance.
  • It shows dimensional stability, good electrical properties, high temperature strength and good compressive strength.
  • It has thermal expansion characteristics similar to aluminum.
  • It is used in electrical applications like connectors, switches, housings and relays, thrust washers, spline liners, valve seats, bushings, bearings, wear rings, films, cams, aircraft-, automotive-, electronic-, oil & gas- and machine applications, industrial parts and applications, metal replacement, sealing devices and valve/valve parts.
  • Torlon® 5030-HF complies with RoHS.
