Solef® 21510 is a semi-crystalline polyvinylidene fluoride copolymer grade by Solvay. It is an additive-free grade and is suitable for processing by extrusion and solution processing. Shows good flexibility, excellent mechanical strength, excellent toughness and high purity. Offers high abrasion-, excellent ageing-, chemical-, fire-, UV- and nuclear radiations resistance. Exhibits low coefficient of friction, medium viscosity and low permeability to most gases and liquids. It allows continuous use of service temperature up to 150°C. Used in membrane manufacturing, lithium batteries, wire and cable industry and semiconductor market. Solef® 21510 is designed for oil & gas, automotive, building and electronics applications. Other applications include chimney linings, fuel cells, food and pharmaceutical industries.
