Radel® RG-5030 by Syensqo is an opaque blue colored, biocompatible, radio translucent, autoclavable, flame retardant polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) grade reinforced with 30% glass fiber. Exhibits high rigidity, strength & stiffness, good creep & chemical resistance, good dimensional stability, high environmental stress crack resistance, and high heat resistance. Offers resistance to gamma radiation, steam and acids & bases, good thermal stability, hydrolytic stability, steam sterilizability and good toughness. Radel® RG-5030 is radiation-, E-beam-, steam-, ethylene oxide-, and heat sterilizable. It is suitable for processing by machining, injection molding, and profile extrusion. Recommended for medical & healthcare applications including dental, hospital goods, medical devices and surgical instruments. Complies with the ISO 10993 Part 1 regulation.
