Kalix® 3950 WH 000

Kalix® 3950 WH 000 by Syensqo is a high performance amorphous polyphthalamide (PPA) grade reinforced with 50% glass fiber. Contains monomers from the sebacic acid chain derived from non-food competing and GMO-free (genetically modified organism) castor oil. Consists of 16% renewable content, according to the ASTM D6866 test method for determining bio-based carbon content. Is uniquely formulated to prevent warpage and flash in parts produced using the injection molding process. Is a paintable, platable and stain resistant grade. Exhibits lowest flash, lowest warpage, higher strength and stiffness. Exhibits dimensional stability, outstanding impact resistance, high flow and hot water moldability. Shows improved chemical resistance as compared to traditional polycarbonate (PC) and PC/acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) materials. Provides high quality surface finish and fill thin wall section parts. Kalix® 3950 WH 000 is recommended for mobile electronics industry like cell phones, electrical parts, electrical and electronic applications.
