Hyflon® PFA M640 by Syensqo is perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) grade offered as a semi-crystalline flame retardant material. It has great heat resistance, low flow, and chemical inertness. Exceptional dielectric characteristics, low melt flow, and low surface energy are all displayed. It can withstand temperatures as low as cryogenic and as high as 250-260°C (482-500°F) without losing any of its characteristics. Extrusion, injection, compression, and resin transfer molding are appropriate processing methods for it. It is utilized in aerospace applications, chemical processing, liners, pipes, tubing, cable jacketing, semi-conductor molding compounds, and these other fields. Hyflon® PFA M640 complies with ASTM D 3307 Type VII agency rating, UL 758 and UL 94 V-0 flame rating.
