Ecotran® E1040S

Ecotran® E1040S by SK Chemicals is a semi-crystalline, halogen-free, high-performance PPS (polyphenylene sulfide) grade reinforced with 40% glass fiber. It exhibits low off-gas and high strength. It offers non-flammability, excellent chemical & solvent resistance, excellent dimensional stability, tight molding tolerances, low warpage, and low creep. It shows superior mechanical properties (high tensile & flexural strength, high stiffness, retention at elevated temperatures) and exceptional temperature index. It can be processed using compounding. It is suitable for automotive applications (such as systems like HEV/EV, fuel, coolant, electrical, brake & lighting system and engine component) and E/E & appliances (HDD, optical device, hot water systems, MWo, bobbins, coffee maker and printed fuser cover). Ecotran® E1040S is free from restricted hazardous substances and complies with RoHS.
