SILTEM™ Resin HUSTM1700 by SABIC is a PFAS-free, halogen-free (according VDE 0472) flame retardant, flexible polyetherimide (PEI) - siloxane copolymer. It offers low smoke emission and toxicity. It is an amber colored, amorphous, transparent material that can be self-colored and easily processed on conventional equipment.
  • It is designed for corrugated pipes and profiles, wire and cable insulation and tubes.
  • Exhibits dimensional stability, high temperature resistance, IR transparency, suitability for thin-wall applications, and excellent dielectric properties.
  • Also offers good processability, chemical resistance, high flow, low corrosivity, and low moisture absorption.
  • It is suitable for extrusion profile and flexible injection molded parts.
  • SILTEM™ Resin HUSTM1700 is RoHS compliant.
  • It is used in medical devices and pharmaceutical applications.
