Polidan® EC/51 by Padanplast is a crosslinkable polyethylene (XLPE) resin. It consists of a silane pre-grafted base compound (Siloplas® method) to be used with catalyst masterbatch. Exhibits low density, good flexibility, low toxicity and high electrical & insulation properties. It is curable by exposure to ambient moisture and is potable water approved. Can withstand high or low working temperatures and possesses hydrolysis resistance. Suitable for processing by high speed extrusion on standard lines. Polidan® EC/51 is applicable for wire & cable applications such as low voltage power and signal cable insulation. Complies with RoHS regulations.
