Omniamid PA6G MoS2 is an amorphous, grey colored polyamide 6 reinforced with molybdenum disulfide (MoS2). Is self-lubricating, has low coefficient of friction, machinable, good tensile stress, compressive strength, higher impact strength. Offers good resistance to weathering & low temperature, exhibits wear resistance better than PA 6 HR, excellent abrasion-, fatigue-, ageing-, alkali-, inorganic compounds, solvents and UV resistance. Is suitable for processing by cast extrusion process. Used in earth moving and construction machines for gears, guides, bearings, brackets, in shipbuilding industry for rollers, towing, guides, bushings and ropeway industry (pulleys, wheels, slides). Complies with UL 94 HB flame rating.
