Akulon® PA66.6 GX by Omnia Plastica is a black colored, U.V. stabilized, hygroscopic, self-lubricating polyamide 66-6 (PA 66-6, Nylon 66-6) copolymer grade. Possesses excellent mechanical features, higher stiffness, good toughness, high tensile stress and compressive strength. Exhibits low friction coefficient, easy machinability on automatic tools, lathes and CNC centres. It can withstand atmospheric agents and low temperatures very well. Offers resistance to light, wear, U.V., impact, shock and chemicals such as alkali, inorganic compounds and solvents. Can be processed by injection molding. It is suitable for molding into rods, sheets and tubes. Akulon® PA66.6 GX is recommended for gears, cams, pulleys, anti-wear guides, construction and earthmoving equipment such as guides & bearings, wheels and other mechanical components for outdoor applications.
