UNILATE® Lf is an internally lubricated polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) grade by Nytef Plastics. Exhibits high strength, stiffness, excellent toughness, excellent rigidity and machinability. Offers dimensional stability, very low moisture absorption and very high value to cost ratio. Provides lower coefficient of friction, wear resistance, better UV resistance and superior chemical resistance to chlorine and caustic/acidic cleaning agents. It can be easily machined and fabricated. Due to food contact approval, it is a preferred material for components in wet and dry food processing applications such as pistons, valves, feed screws and forming/ extrusion dies. UNILATE® Lf is used in applications involving high speed wear, food and dairy processing, material handling equipments, fluid handling, manifolds, timing screws, scraper blades, wear strips, pump components, gears, bushings, bearings, electronics manufacturing and automotive industry. Complies with FDA, USDA, NSF, 3-A and UL 94 HB flame rating.
