Silopren™ LSR 2050

Silopren™ LSR 2050 by Momentive Performance Materials is a biocompatible, two-component liquid silicone rubber, sterilizable with ethylene oxide, steam and gamma radiation. It is not readily combustible and it does not melt or drip. It is easily pigmented with LSR color pastes. Offers long service life at dynamic stress, high thermal stability, excellent stability and flexibility at low temperature. Exhibits excellent processability, excellent dielectric behaviour over a wide range of temperature, good rubber-like properties, aging resistance, high stability to ozone and UV light. Designed for processing by injection molding. Silopren™ LSR 2050 is used in elastomeric articles like sealing elements, O-rings, stoppers, diaphragms, keypads, bellows, catheters, pacifiers, baby teats, respiratory devices, pressure cooker parts, diving masks, vibration dampers, nose pads, switch covers, air vent flaps and cable connectors. Complies with USP Class VI, ISO 10993, KTW, WRAS (BS 6920), BfR recommendation XV "Silicones", DVGW (W 270), FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 regulations and UL 94 HB (File No. E205753) flame rating.
