jER™ 1002 by Mitsubishi Chemical is a high performance, bisphenol A solid epoxy resin. It is solvent-based, formed by the condensation polymerization of bisphenol A and epichlorohydrin. Exhibits small curing shrinkage, excellent dimensional stability and high mechanical strength. Offers excellent heat-, wear-, chemical-, moisture- and abrasion resistance. Possible applications of jER™ 1002 include paints & coatings, electrical insulation materials, composite material, civil engineering & construction materials, adhesives and tools.
