CR-250 by MACRO POLYMERS is an unmodified epoxy resin based on bisphenol-A and epiclorohydrine. It is soluble in alcohols, esters, ketones, glycol ethers and aromatic hydrocarbons. Shows compatibility with reactive and non reactive diluents, plasticizers and other modified epoxy resins. It can be cross linked with amine, anhydride, polyamide and other hardeners used with epoxy resins. Used in room temperature curing systems for casting, potting, encapsulation of transformers, solenoid coils, capacitors, switchgear components, instrument transformers and electronic circuits. CR-250 is also used in heat curing system for high voltage coils in the construction of transformers, slip rings, high voltage insulators and floorings, adhesives, laminating, reinforced plastics, filament windings and coatings.
