MF-268 by MACRO POLYMERS is a high gloss butylated melamine formaldehyde resin. Exhibits excellent reactivity and very good color retention in baking. Imparts excellent impact resistance. MF-970 by MACRO POLYMERS is a highly efficient, fast curing butylated melamine formaldehyde resin. Acts as anti-wrinkling and anti-cracking agent. Exhibits very good flexibility and very good color retention on baking. Imparts excellent impact resistance. It is soluble in xylene, n-butyl acetate, methyl ethyl ketone, n-butanol and n-hexane (1:1.5-2). Compatible with short oil & long oil, melamine formaldehyde (MF) and urea formaldehyde (UF) resin. Designed for low temperature curing flexible lacquers for metalized plastic articles. Useful for MTO based finishes and rosinated alkyd-based stoving finishes. MF-970 is recommended for baking finishes for motor cars and kitchen appliances in second quality paints.
