Pearlstick™ D40-70/18 is an elastic, crystalline, linear and aromatic thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (TPU) grade by Lubrizol. Offers extremely high crystallization rate, very low thermoplasticity and excellent heat resistance. Exhibits transparent solutions, high tenacity, surface tack, stress-strain power and low melting point. Soluble in acetone, methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), cyclohexanone, dimethylformamide and tetrahydrofuran (THF). Pearlstick™ D40-70/18 is used in the production of adhesives for bonding plasticized PVC to plasticized PVC, leather, rubber, textiles or other materials of the shoe industry.
