Pearlstick™ D40-70/08

Pearlstick™ D40-70/08 is an elastic, crystalline, linear and aromatic thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (TPU) grade by Lubrizol. Offers extremely high crystallization rate, very low thermoplasticity and excellent heat resistance. Provides high solid content, low viscosity and high performance in the green-strength of the joints. Exhibits transparent solutions, high tenacity, surface tack, stress-strain power and low melting point. Soluble in acetone, methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), cyclohexanone, dimethylformamide and tetrahydrofuran (THF). Pearlstick™ D40-70/08 is used in the production of adhesives for bonding plasticized PVC to plasticized PVC, leather, rubber, textiles or other materials of the shoe industry. Moreover, it is recommended for spray applications in the automotive industry.
