Pearlstick™ 48-60/08 is an elastic, crystalline, linear and aromatic thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (TPU) grade by Lubrizol. Offers very high crystallization rate, medium-low thermoplasticity, excellent heat resistance and very good freeze resistance. Exhibits transparent solutions, high tenacity, stress-strain power, surface tack and low melting point. Soluble in acetone, methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), cyclohexanone, dimethylformamide and tetrahydrofuran (THF). Possible applications of Pearlstick™ 48-60/08 includes the production of solvent-based adhesives for automotive, furniture, footwear and other industries.
