Pearlstick™ 45-60/14 is an elastic, crystalline, linear and aromatic thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (TPU) grade by Lubrizol. Offers extremely high crystallization rate, low thermoplasticity and good hydrolysis resistance. Provides high green strength values, easier heat activation and long & high hot-tack (tack retention). Exhibits high tenacity, stress-strain power and low melting point. Soluble in acetone, methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), cyclohexanone, dimethylformamide and tetrahydrofuran (THF). Pearlstick™ 45-60/14 is used in the production of adhesives for bonding plasticized PVC to plasticized PVC, leather, rubber, textiles or other materials of shoe industry.
