ESTANE® GP 65AE TPU by Lubrizol is an aromatic polyester-based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) grade. Exhibits low temperature flexibility, excellent chemical resistance, hydrolytic stability & blend-ability, good weathering properties and resistance to wet environments and/or fungus growth. It also offers good mechanical strength & matte finish and good heat resistance. ESTANE® GP 65AE TPU possesses good abrasion-, kink-, tear-, puncture-, oil-, solvents-, grease- and high burst-pressure resistance, high tension set & grip and low creep properties. Can be processed using injection molding. It is recommended for wire & cable market (wire & cable jacketing, building & construction, mining, coiled or spiral cables, telephone or data cabling, military cabling, fiber optics, land & marine cable, ocean bottom & off-shore and umbilicals. It is also designed for automotive anti-lock braking systems (ABS), harnesses, robot or chain cable, signal cable, transportation cable, & video/audio cable), hose & tube market (air-powered tools, dental equipment, automated equipment, robotics, pneumatic tubing, hydraulic brake tubes, fire & garden hoses, transportation of food & beverages and chemical liquids & abrasive substances and vacuum cleaner hoses). It can also be used in film & sheet market (industrial bladders, architectural glass lamination, breathable textiles, ballistic glass, automotive interior parts, air mattresses & pillows, protective packaging, surface protection & wound care products like dressings & plasters), and conveyor, driving & timing belts (food conveyor belts for meat, bakery, fish, etc., woodpress belts, printing blanket belts & airport belts).
