Aonilex® X131A by Kaneka is biodegradable bio-based polyester. It is produced by microorganisms in a specified fermentation condition using plant oils as the carbon source.
  • It has excellent flexibility, hydrolysis stability and heat resistance.
  • It can act as a barrier to water vapor.
  • Exhibits a range of properties from hardness through to softness as well as a number of key characteristics similar to polyethylene and polypropylene materials.
  • It shows excellent biodegradability under aerobic, anaerobic, aquatic & composting conditions and is proven to be an environmental friendly plastic.
  • It improves the strength and tear resistance of packaging films, especially agricultural mulch films & composting bags.
  • Aonilex® X131A is suitable for high durability molded products such as bottles and containers, auto interiors & electrical equipment.
