KPLAST™ 8381 by Kane International is a moderately tough, aromatic thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) grade. Is an ETOH, NPAC and IPA soluble grade, offering very good resistance to chemical, oils, fats and water. Exhibits very good adhesion to polyolefin films, good gloss and compatibility with nitrocellulose, polyvinyl butyral (PVB), ketone and maleic resins. KPLAST™ 8381 can be used alone and in conjunction with other softer TPU’s and monomeric plasticizers. Designed to act as an adhesion promoter, mainly in nitrocellulose based gravure inks for flexible packaging. Complies with REACH and F.D.A. regulations, Chapter 21, Section 175-105.
