KPLAST™ 1022 by Kane International is a soft, aromatic thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) grade. Imparts excellent adhesion to numerous flexible films and good heat release with resistance to blocking, deep-freeze, chemicals, oils, fats and water. Is an ETAC and IPA soluble grade, offering low viscosity. KPLAST™ 1022 is used together with nitrocellulose for the production of solvent based flexo and gravure packaging inks and coatings. Recommended for semi-film forming nitrocellulose plasticizer and adhesion promoter for lamination applications. Complies with REACH and F.D.A. regulations, Chapter 21, Section 175-105.
