Jampilen EP548S by Jam Polypropylene is a nucleated, antistatic, heterophasic polypropylene (PP) copolymer. Exhibits high melt flow rate, high stiffness, good impact strength, easy mold filling, short cycle times, improved balance of mechanical properties, excellent dimensional stability and organoleptic properties. It exhibits 15% higher rigidity compared to conventional copolymers with the same MFR and the same toughness. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Jampilen EP548S is recommended for sports & leisure, toys, margarine tubs, pots (for soft cheeses, yoghurt, pudding, mayonnaise), caps, closures, flower pots, cool boxes, opaque food containers, housewares and thin-walled packaging. This grade is suitable for food contact applications.
