AVALON® 80 AB by Huntsman is a halogen-, phthalate free and recyclable polyester based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) grade. Provides easy multilayer bonding, high transparency, good flexibility over a wide temperature range, perfect color match, fast cycle times and easy processing with consistent quality. Exhibits high abrasion-, hydrolysis-, improved slip-, scratch-, UV- and flex resistance, even at low temperatures. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. AVALON® 80 AB is used in footwear applications like outsoles, slippers, unit-soles, top-pieces and kippers, sport and outdoor applications like sports plates, studs and cleats, eyelets, shanks, decorative parts, air bags, stabilizer and components. It is a RoHS and REACH compliant grade.
