Cellulose Acetate Butyrate ( CAB ) by Goodfellow is an amorphous, transparent thermoplastic similar to cellulose acetate but more expensive and tougher with better weathering resistance as well as lower moisture absorption.
  • It offers good ultra-violet resistance.
  • The light control sheets can be thought of as miniature venetian blinds encapsulated between plain CAB films.
  • Cellulose Acetate Butyrate ( CAB ) is suitable for spectacle frames, tool and brush handles, packaging including stiff thin-walled tubes for "display packaging", goggles and signs.
