GEHR POM-ESD® by GEHR is a polyoxymethylene (POM) copolymer grade. Exhibits high surface strength, rigidity (upto -40°C), high thermal stability, good sliding properties and low water absorption. Shows smooth surface, high dimensional stability, good electrical insulation and very low risk of stress cracks. Provides resistance to temperature (upto 100°C), wear, tear, chemicals, hydrolysis and solvents. Is difficult to glue & paint, has no microporosity and is not resistant to high-concentrated acids. GEHR POM-ESD® is used in bearings, fittings, gear wheels, pump parts, screws, bobbins, parts for textile industry and medium for coating lines. Complies with UL 94 HB flame rating.
