GEHR PE-ELS® by GEHR is a low density, electrically conductive polyethylene (PE) grade. Exhibits high toughness even at low temperature, bondability, high elongation, very low water absorption, low steam permeability and good insulation properties. Offers limited UV stabilization, good protection against stress cracking, soft surface, low tensile strength, weather resistance (except natural color) and very good electrical & dielectric properties. Is food safe, easy to weld and provides good chemical resistance to acids, bases, detergents and hot water. HF welding is not recommended. GEHR PE-ELS® is used in transport containers, pumps, valve parts, tank construction parts, components with medical applications, gaskets, sliding profiles and food industry components. Complies with UL 94 HB flame rating.
