ECOGEHR® PLA-L by GEHR is a blend of polylactic acid, some lignine, fatty acid and wax. It is obtained from the renewable resources sugar/starch. Possesses good mechanical properties similar to ABS, high stiffness and a modulus of elasticity up to 2770 MPa. Has good impact strength, also at low temperatures to -30°C, good chemical resistance against polar substances. It is physiologically indifferent and also has good thermal insulation.
