
Arnitel® VT3108 by Envalior is a high-performance, highly breathable, thermoplastic copolyester (TPC). This food contact quality is processed by film extrusion and requires drying. It is a lighter, smarter, greener alternative to conventional rubbers thus, reducing environmental impact. It possesses flexibility, strength, kink resistance and excellent processing characteristics. It offers chemical resistance against household chemicals like cleaning agents, sunscreen lotion and automotive greases and oils. It yields a breathable film that balances the application-specific gas mixture of O2 and CO2, and the moisture inside the package. It allows for reliable solutions in respiratory tubing and prevents condensation. It provides light weight solutions as compared to silicone alternative. Arnitel® VT3108 shows easy stretchability with low forces, not putting tension on the wound area. It is cost effective and sustainable, since it is PFC free and 100% recyclable and very comfortable due to its 100% waterproof performance under all circumstances, unlike perforated membranes. It yields excellent smoke penetration leading to great taste and sausage structure and high quality. It is used in breathable films for food packaging, breathable outdoor clothing, medical tubes & gowns, plasters, respirator tubes, roofing membranes and smokable sausage casings. It meets ISO 18064 for TPC-ET.
