Arnitel® PL461 by Envalior is a high-performance, high flow, non-reinforced & non-flame retardant, thermoplastic copolyester (TPC). It is a lighter, smarter, greener alternative to conventional rubbers thus, reducing environmental impact. It is processed by injection molding. It possesses creep resistance, strength & excellent processing characteristics. It offers chemical resistance against household chemicals like cleaning agents, sunscreen lotion and automotive greases and oils. It allows for reliable solutions due to high flexibility in various temperature regimes, excellent colorability and color stability. It enables airless design, eliminating down time & labor for flat tire service. This grade displays extended service life: 2-3 times longer than traditional pneumatic tires. It offers high load performance and flex fatigue endurance. It allows for cost effective solutions since it yields thermoplastic processing advantages over rubber, resulting in faster cycle times in comparison with other TPE's. It provides high abrasion resistance, excellent load bearing capacity and environmental resistance and very consistent performance over temperature ranges from -55°C (-67°F) to +150°C (+300°F) and longest lifetime. Arnitel® PL461 is used in bed & support springs, cosmetic & soap dispensers, non-pneumatic wheel and railway pads. It meets ISO 18064 for TPC-ET.
