
Arnitel® EL250 by Envalior is a high-performance, thermoplastic co-polyester (TPC) grade. It is processed by injection molding. It possesses good colorability, flexibility, strength, excellent processing characteristics, excellent mechanical properties, excellent elasticity, good resistance in heat aging tests and permeability to water vapor. This food contact quality grade shows high tear-, creep-, abrasion-, temperature-, thermal-, UV-, fungus- and fatigue resistance. It offers chemical resistance against household chemicals like cleaning agents, sunscreen lotion and automotive greases and oils. It shows very low oxygen permeability combined with very high carbon dioxide permeability for usage in fruit and vegetable film packaging. Arnitel® EL250 can withstand very high burst pressures and retains its properties better at higher temperatures than PA 12. It provides high durability and broad tactile properties with superior touch and feel. It allows for excellent bonding in molding on miscellaneous in thin walls and offers good haptics. It is used in spring in monitor arm with adjustable load bearing, DC cables, grips, outdoor consumer cables, phone case, spatulas & kitchenware, support springs and wine taps. It meets ISO 18064 for TPC-ET.
