Selar® PA 3426R by DuPont is an amorphous polyamide (PA) grade. Shows excellent optical properties, high stiffness, excellent gloss, clarity and superior transparency. Exhibits high resistance to gases, water, oxygen, heat solvents and essential oils. Offers high melt viscosity for extrusion processes such as EBM. It can be processed by extrusion coating, injection- and blow molding. Also exhibits high temperature structural properties and broader thermoforming window. Used in rigid packaging, blow molded tubes and pharmaceutical vials and bottles. Selar® PA 3426R complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.1500(a) (12) and (b) (12) regulations.
