MULTIFLEX™ TPE A4710 S (H)

MULTIFLEX™ TPE A4710 S (H) by DuPont is a recyclable thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). Contains anti-blocking additive for polyethylene (PE) film extrusion, anti-slip, processing aid, anti-fibrillation additive for polypropylene (PP) yarn extrusion and weaving, stiffening agent for polypropylene (PP) films and plaques. Is a halogen free, oxygen scavenger, breathable, heat weldable (corners), and heat stabilized grade. Possesses lower coefficient of friction, excellent mechanical properties at elevated temperature (>90°C), hydrocarbon- , chemical- , tear- , heat- , scratch- , mar- and fluid resistance, low taste, odor and extractables. Shows long term adhesion stability, spinning cycle up to 1600 rpm, improves mold filling, reduces cycle time, durability, good desiccant- and peel properties. Provides lower extruder torque, improved thermal insulation, impact protection, noise and vibration dampening, low and high temperature flexibility. Designed for injection molding and extrusion methods. Possible applications of MULTIFLEX™ TPE A4710 S (H) are health, personal care, houseware, portable electronics, hand & power tools, sports and leisure. Can also be used for electrical protection, wire and cable, packaging, window seals & gaskets, fluid and product delivery. Complies with UL-94 V0 Flame Rating, KTW/A, W270 and W543 “LGA”.
