CENTRODAL W POM W by Centroplast is a natural colored, semi-crystalline polyoxymethylene (POM) grade. Provides excellent machinability, dimensional stability, good temperature for usage in air, high hardness, rigidity, good impact strength, high mechanical load-bearing capacity, extreme low water absorption, good heat distortion temperature, good bond- and weldability. Exhibits acid-, chemical resistance, favorable frictional and wear behavior. Used in applications in the field of drinking water such as seals & gaskets for pipes in the domestic installation, construction parts for potable water bottling such as pump components, valve bodies, supply and main lines for cold & warm drinking water. CENTRODAL W POM W by Centroplast complies with FDA, BfR, UL 94 (flame rating) and certified according to the regulations of DVGW worksheet W270 for safe application within the vicinity of drinking water.
