Ateva® 1821A by Celanese is a clear to white colored, low cost ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer containing antioxidant. It is a water insoluble, flexible, low gel, low organoleptic, odorless, additive-free grade. Exhibits good strength, transparency, excellent sealing properties, improved optical properties and excellent adhesion. Offers low-temperature processing for reduced polymer degradation during manufacturing and incorporation of a wide range and high concentration of additives and fillers. Is suitable for processing by foam extrusion and compounding. It produces soft resilient foams for shoe midsoles, pipe insulation and high-end mattresses for crosslinked or open cell foams. Recommended for concentrates, fragrances and functional additives to cap liners, wire and cable compounds, multi-layer food packaging, personal care films, decorative label films, greenhouse & agricultural films and a wide range of industrial packaging applications. Ateva® 1821A complies with USP class VI and REACH regulations.
