BC250MO by Borealis is a general-purpose polypropylene (PP) heterophasic copolymer. Characterized by combination of good stiffness and very high impact strength even at low temperatures. Exhibits very good processability, high melt stability, good stress crack-, creep- and good chemical resistance. Shows lower carbon & water footprint, good surface aesthetics, sound damping behaviour and low discoloration. It can be processed by injection molding. Possible applications include appliances washing machines, dish-washers, fridges, freezers and dryers. Suitable for air-conditioners, vacuum cleaners, coffee makers, ventilators and hair dryers. BC250MO is recommended for microwave ovens, water kettles, steam irons, toasters, rice-cookers and tea-makers. Other applications include and water heaters, power tools, motor housings, consumer electronics and other household products.
