BIOPLAST® GS 2189 by Biotec is a completely new type of soft- pacemaker-free thermoplastic material. It is produced from over 60% sustainable crop material. Therefore there are no deposits or vapors of plasticizer during processing of material is ideal for flat film extrusion, blown film extrusion and injection molding of completely biodegradable products. The full biological Scheme degradation and other functional properties enable the converter into Product ranges penetrate the traditional thermoplastic materials previously were inaccessible It is thermoformable, heat-sealable and RF-sealable. Can be colored with master batches. Has a similar stiffness with PS. BIOPLAST® GS 2189 is used in deep drawn products, injection molded products, products for horticulture and packaging.
