Ultramid® A3U42G6

Ultramid® A3U42G6 by BASF is a flame-retarded, halogen-, antimony-free polyamide (PA) grade reinforced with 30% glass fiber. Suitable for processing by injection molding. It is a laser-markable grade when colored black with reduced deposit formation and corrosivity. Possesses light colorability, high impact strength, good elastic properties, low tendency to creep and good sliding friction properties. Provides high strength, rigidity, good toughness, processability and dimensional stability. Offers good chemical- and thermal ageing resistance. Shows no migration effects and ensures component surfaces of higher quality. Ultramid® A3U42G6 is used in connectors and thermally stressed industrial automation applications such as switchgears and contactors. Complies with WEEE and ROHS directives.
