Supplied byBASF- Last Updated on Feb 6, 2023

ecoflex® F Blend C1200 by BASF is a semi-crystalline, aliphatic, aromatic copolyester based on the monomers 1,4 butanediol, adipic acid and terephthalic acid in the polymer chain. Possesses good thermostability up to 230°C, good processability, down gaging to 10 µm, weldablility, printability and a melting point of 110-120°C. Exhibits high molecular weight, long branched molecular structure, high ultimate elongation at break, high failure energy (dart drop), controllable high water vapor transmission rate (WVTR), resistance to water- and tear. Designed for processing by blown and cast films. Typical applications include packaging films, agricultural films and compost bags. ecoflex® F Blend C1200 complies with DIN EN ISO 9001 2000, food contact approved by European Directive 2002/72/EC (as amended) and US food contact notification FCN 907. It fulfils the requirements of the European standard DIN EN 13432, the US standard ASTM D 6400 and the Japanese GreenPla standards.
